I am a frontline focused executive leader with a vision for the future and a passion for developing strong teams to deliver world class results. My career spans thirty years and covers four different industries, ranging from $20M to $750M. My early experiences taught me the importance of understanding the front line to drive execution and stay ahead of changes in the marketplace. Later in my executive career, I saw the power of this connection with the people to ensure the strategic vision, operating plans and investments were aligned.
My forte is to thread the needle from the strategy to the tactics and align the resources to optimize the results while building momentum for the future. My ability to simplify the complex, be a resourceful problem solver and a resilient change leader has allowed me to stay focused in the dynamic marketplace of today. I have earned a reputation for innovation and game-changing strategy with a keen understanding of today’s dynamic marketplace and driving performance.
My leadership style leverages my authenticity to engage, my curiosity to learn and my ability to make the mission both clear and personal so the people can relate while giving them the voice to drive results. Helping others to achieve excellence and purpose towards their goals is truly inspiring for me. I love using my experience to help others be intentional about their own personal development and learn to optimize their impact.
I earned my bachelors degree in Communications and Business from Gustavus Adolphus College, and I received my master’s in Business at the University of St. Thomas. I have also pursued professional development at the University of Minnesota in their Executive Program and the University of Chicago in Marketing.
I have been married to my husband, Brian, for 29 years. We have two college-aged sons and a cat. In my free time, I enjoy hunting, fishing, motorcycles, skiing, scrapbooking and making my famous banana cream pie.
This is my personal blog. My mission is to inspire leaders—as individuals and at the corporate or organizational level—to be intentional with their leadership and professional development to elevate performance, achieve excellence and fulfill their goals.
